Over the summer, I hand-stamped hundreds of reusable cotton masks with my own designs that support the Black Lives Matter movement, pride month, and universal health care to donate them to passersby and an LA homeless community. Each respective mask design incorporated slogans or words such as: “Check your biases,” “Health care is human rights,” “Black lives matter,” “‘Racism,’ the worst pandemic,” “I’m not a threat,” “Pride,” and more. Pictures taken show moments from an event held to give away the masks for free.
